3 wins for the 2 under 10's teams

The under 10's were able to field 2 sides for the first time this weekend. Not bad for a team that had 7 players when it started at Under 7s!

The double header against Marlborough and Bradford saw both sides playing 3 matches and finishing with 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats. We also had 6 players making their debuts for the team, not that you would have noticed them!

Trowbridge Lions
=================
Matthew, Leo, Luke B, Iwan, Thomas, Riley, Liam, Wilf, Emile

Marlborough A D 20-20 Matthew 2, Leo 2
A tough opener that swung one way and then the other. Considering 4 of the team were brand new and some with less than 2 weeks practice behind them the team fought like Lions. Matthew as usual gave the team its cutting edge and Leo is strength, but it was great to see Iwan back from injury and competing so well on the ground and Thomas being the first with his hand up tp scrummage! The only down side was an injury to Luke B that forced him off the pitch early.

Marlborough B W 30-5 Emile, Matthew 4, Leo
Emile scored on his debut as we overpowered the second Marlborough team. Quality support play and aggresive tackling setting up the win. Great support play from Wilf and Riley, also making their debuts meant that while Matthew did most of the damage he had support if needed.

vs Bradford L 10-25 Matthew 2
The hardest game of all. We struggled to get out our own half in the first half, but stuck in there until fatigue really hit in the final couple of minutes

Trowbridge Tigers
===================
Alfie, Louie, Joe, Freddie, Ethan, Logan, Ben, Ed, Rhys

vs Bradford L 10-15 Alfie 2
Alfie scored twice as Trowbridge rana strong Bradford team close. Ed & Logan made their debuts in a strong Trowbridge team.

vs Marlborough B W 30-20 Alfie 3, Louie 2, Ed
A strong performance saw a win that was probably better than the scoreline suggested. Louie was a constant dager with strong runs, supported well by Freddie & Ben playing scrum half. Alfie was his lethal best, jinking through the lines and Ethan tackled hard. Ed threw himself into the game wholeheartedly and was rewarded for a sniping try close to the line, his arm appearing at a ruck putting the bal over the line.

vs Marlborough A W 20-10 Alfie 3, Joe
Another 3 tries from Alfie and a typically strong run from Joe saw Trowbridge home in the second half against a strong and spirited Marlborough side.
