Back row forward Ryan Lech was also unavailable and Fin Morris and Fin Parsons took the place of these players.

Trowbridge continued to dominate and soon after wing Alex Christopher outpaced the Longlevens defence to score and Pike scored again before the interval. Weaver converted both tries. Longlevens then attacked but Trowbridge full back Alex Kilbane attacked from behind his own line. Almost miraculously he went on a mazy run that ended around the home 22. Several phases later the move broke down inside the 22 with a knock on about 10 metres out and the referee blew the final whistle.
