Tickets will cost £65 per head. These can be purchased individually or we are offering a table for the evening to seat 10 people which includes a five course dinner and four bottles of wine for £650 (there is no VAT).
The evening will be hosted by our former club captain and former club President, Martyn Laverick, who will as always keep us on our toes and entertain throughout the evening. Our after dinner speaker will be Nigel Redman, the former Bath and England international.
Nigel Redman is best known as a lock forward for Bath, England and the British & Irish Lions. After 16 years in the “engine room” of the Bath scrum, Nigel has continued his sporting involvement coaching rugby at club, premiership and England under 19’s & 20’s levels. More recently, Nigel has been a coach developer with the UK Sport ECAP delivery team and in 2014 was appointed by British Swimming as the Elite Coach Development manager supporting and developing coaches and the team for the 2016 Rio & 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
This year the Dinner will be held to support the development of Female and Youth rugby at Trowbridge Rugby Football Club, and as usual we will be holding an auction and raffle. As a result of the continuing support of our members , volunteers and sponsors over the last three years our thriving junior section has grown to now include 4 successful girls’ teams and a senior Ladies squad, which is in addition to our traditional 3 ambitious senior fifteens.
