First Festival of the Season... and its sunny!!

Last week started with Friday Night Lights with the Under 15s contesting a ding dong encounter with Bradford-on-Avon in the D&W Cup. After a 24-24 draw, both teams head into the final week of the Championship Cup with a chance of winning it.

On the Saturday, Luke H made his Bath Under 16 DPP debut against Harlequins. Well done Luke!

Sunday saw the rest of the Juniors in Cup action with wins for the Under 12s and Under 14s against Walcot and Bridport respectively. The Under 14s also go to their final game against Frome with the possibility of silverware. The Under 13s lost at home to Bradford-on-Avon and the Under 16s losing at Marlborough. The minis also played away at Bradford-on-Avon.

This Sunday, for the first time in documented history, the Chippenham Festival takes place in nice weather. In recent memory, it has been played in a gale, driving rain and even snow! Don't forget the suntan lotion!! Good luck to our Under 9s and Under 11s. The rest of the minis are training at Doric Park.

For the Juniors, only the Under 13s have a home fixture, hosting Oldfield Old Boys RFC, while the Under 14s travel to Midsomer Norton and the Under 15s are at Marlborough. The Under 16s play their final cup fixture, the re-arranged match at Bournemouth RFC.

The Under 13s girls host Walcats.

Best of luck to everyone, don't forget to wind your clocks forward and Happy Mother's Day to all our dedicated Mums who bring the children week in week out!
