Trowbridge continued their run of good form to win the Dorset & Wilts 1st XV final against local rivals Corsham in atrocious conditions.
Trowbridge ran in four first half tries,they were first off the mark through the boot of Lloyd Davis who kicked a penalty and went further in front when veteran Mark Durant crossed the Corsham line the conversion was missed then Corsham hit back with an unconverted try from centre and captain Dave Finley.
Trowbridge now in total control dominating the Corsham pack spread the ball wide to James McFarlane for try number two which also went unconverted only for Barry Coombs to score try number three a short time later Lloyd Davis adding the extras on this occasion and to round off the first half try number four from prop Sam Edwards with Loyd Davis bring the half to a close with another succesfull conversion 27-5.
With Trowbridge makeing several changes Corsham started the second half strongly and contiued to pile on the pressure keeping Trowbridge on the back foot for most of the half untill the Corsham winger Rob Holden found away through the Trowbridge defence and crossed out wide Dan Goldsworthy adding the conversion to end the game 27 - 12.
