North Dorset V Trowbridge

Trowbridge did well to secure a bonus point win against a good home side and a howling wind that made every discipline difficult,but both sides contributed to a good game.
Trowbridge prop Sean Jones opened with a score from some powerful rucking Lloyd Davis adding the extras with a difficult cnversion, the only other score of the half came from Trowbridge's second row Alan Chadwick crashing through a poor defence the conersion was missed and play continued untill half time with the score 0 - 12 to the visitors.

The second half started with the hosts having the conditions in their favour kicking to the corners trying to pin Trowbridge down deep in their own half testing their defences until eventually North Dorset's Carl Harvey crossed out wide to score their only try of the game Jay Westcar adding the conversion.

Trowbridge were next to score after the hosts conceded several penalty's on their on line Shane Johnstone forcing his way through their defences the conversion was missed,soon after Dorset's Jay Westcar landed a successful penalty goal,but to finish the game off James McFarline ran in to score a try the conversion was again missed but this score put the visitors out of reach and end the game 10 - 22.
