Trowbridge opened the score in the first 5 minutes with a brilliant try from Marco Lopes converted by Simon Kemp, Minety started with three first team players and were soon to retaliate and scored their first unconverted try after 10 minutes followed by two further tries 5 minutes later, Trowbridge kept up pressure and were awarded a penalty try 27 minutes into the game, converted by Simon Kemp. Trowbridge maintained the pressure but were unable too score bringing the half time score to 19-14.to Minety.
Part way through the second half Minety scored two more unconverted tries, After a lot of pressure Trowbridge failed to capitalise on the sin binning of a Minety player and after further 1st team substitutions Minety went on to Score two more tries and a penalty. Both Trowbridge forwards and backs had an excellent game with their scrummaging, attacking and overall team work.
