TROWBRIDGE 3RDS 48-5 VICTORY OVER CALNE

Trowbridge 3rds score 8 tries After a frustrating start. with Andy Parr injured in the warm up and a number of injuries on both sides during the game.

Trowbridge took the lead after 5 minutes with an unconverted try by Rob Sully, Calne forward kept the pressure on Trowbridge scrums and after a long injury time Calne came back in the 28th minute with a runaway try. Towards the end of the first half Trowbridge scored two more tries one by Simon Richmond and the other by David Wells both converted by Simon Kemp

3 minutes into the second half sub Archie Poole scored a brilliant try converted by Sam Butcher, Trowbridge picked up thier game in the second half and with changes to the pack we saw a turn around in the scrums with Trowbridge putting pressure on Calne's forwards. Trowbridge continued to pressurise Calne scoring four more ties one by David Wells after 9 minutes converted by Sam Butcher, Another try by Archie Poole after 14 minutes and late tries by Dan Knight and Colin Mitchell."one of the 4 tries being on the post".
