Trowbridge forwards pushed back at the start against a more experienced pack.
Trowbridge struggled at first to hold the scrums but their superior play in the rucks led to Jason Reed going over for his first try 12 minutes into the game. Trowbridge kept up the pressure resulting in a penalty in the 22nd minutes kicked by George Leat. Five minutes later Captain Jake Hemingway scored his first try followed five minutes later by his second try of the game. In the final two minutes of the first halt a try by George Leat converted by Ed Lamb saw the half time score go to 25-0 for Trowbridge. Trowbridge were slow to get into the game in the second half which led to Warminster getting a converted try four minutes after re-start and a second try 13 minutes later. Trowbridge picked up their play and two minutes later Jason Reed went over for his second try of the game converted by Henry Beer. The final two tries of the game came from two brilliant runs to touch from Henry Beer.
