Couple of knock ons - not surprising in the cold weather. Cleve with ball but our defence is sound.

Leo to Tommy good play - makes good yardage in traffic. Good tackling by Kacey set up Tommy to Azad who powers over quarter of their team

Great catch from kick off by Matthew and he runs 40m and in. Cleve kicked to the side and didn't bother to chase up their own kick.

Another strong run by Azad straight into half the team and still going forward following good catch by Tommy but stopped short. Strike runners are making yards... Kacey this time.

Cleve with quite a lot of ball and a couple of penalties on the Trowbridge 22. Suddenly a shout wakes everyone "You are all facing the wrong way!!" as Cleve try to go quickly.

Boys have gone to sleep and consistently not paying attention to Cleve taking quick plays! Last 5 mins all Cleve but defence still just about keeping them out.

Good scrum and run by Leo but stopped on the 22. Cleve break from a line out and the ball ends up with Matthew at full back. A bit of strictly come dancing from Matthew! Two shoe shuffle but more like twenty two ?
So Louis S back on. One joker for another!

But at present not being clinical enough in most phases

My hands are getting cold as not much to type. That about sums it up at present. Very disjointed this half- in fact last 20 mins - all a bit loose and sideways. Going to give notes a rest my fingers are frozen

My thoughts

Got 17-0 up and switched off a bit. Need to mentally sharpen up a bit especially v a side taking quick penalties!

Too many penalties!

Taking space and looking to come back in when 5m out from touch

Do the simple things sometimes, contact and recycle.

Overall though -good win.

Standouts for me today - The usual suspects Kacey, Matthew and Leo but also Tommy F who had a great game.

MOM for me- Azad whose power ?and straight running made a lot of difference

All did well though, including my frostbitten fingers. ❄❄

Note-boys should all sit together as a team until after food ---even with female ❤❤❤attention.
